Merchant documentation

Merchant setup guide for licensed iTheme installs.

This public documentation is intentionally merchant-scoped. It explains how a merchant validates their CMS install, downloads the assigned licensed theme and configures merchant-side settings without exposing internal platform operations.

Step 01

Before you start

  1. Confirm your merchant website domain is the same domain submitted for licensing.
  2. Keep the license key email from iTheme ready.
  3. Use the validation URL supplied by iTheme.
  4. Make sure your CMS admin account can access the License Manager screen.
Step 02

Validate the merchant install

  1. Open the locked License Manager screen.
  2. Enter your iTheme license key.
  3. Paste the iTheme validation URL.
  4. Select Validate License and wait for the confirmation message.
Step 03

Install the licensed theme

  1. After validation, the CMS receives a short-lived secure download token.
  2. The assigned theme package downloads from iTheme automatically.
  3. The theme is installed only if the package passes safety checks.
  4. Return to Admin → Themes to activate or review the installed theme.
Step 04

Merchant email setup

  1. Merchant email delivery is separate from iTheme system email.
  2. Only enable Ozibus if your merchant business has its own Ozibus credentials.
  3. Enter your merchant Ozibus Merchant ID and API key.
  4. Send a test email before using production notifications.
Step 05

Common validation issues

  1. Domain mismatch: the current website domain must match the licensed merchant domain.
  2. Expired token: validate again to receive a fresh package token.
  3. Theme install failed: confirm PHP cURL, OpenSSL and writable theme/storage folders.
  4. Wrong product: contact iTheme support if the product ID does not match your install.
Step 06

Merchant security notes

  1. Do not share your license key publicly.
  2. Do not paste the key into support chats unless requested through an official iTheme support channel.
  3. Keep your CMS admin password secure.
  4. Contact iTheme if your domain or business ownership changes.
